The Evenings are Closing In but Toastmasters is in Full Flight

Notes from 15th Oct 2014

This was another great evening. Our genial Toastmaster Frank got things under way, telling us thatToastmasters is 90 years old this month. Frank had a go at being a comedian, with a few one liners; don't give up the day job Frank!

Our topics ranged from death to taxes and everything in between.

Very well done to Thomas who gave us his Ice Breaker. It was everything and much more that we love about Ice Breakers.

More speeches from Aonghus with some great tips about reading books, Donal gave us guidance on how to get the best out of a camera and Pat reminisced about being a young boy and what he learnt about how to survive a nuclear attack!

Where would you get diversity like that?

It was great to see so many guests and some about to embark on their Toastmasters journey.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening hosted with great professionalism, fun and style by Frank.

If you are thinking of joining, don't delay.  This Toastmaster joined in 2006, I've never looked back. It changed my life.
